Spring is in the Air!

Even though it is still cold outside,
there are buds coming out on the trees.
Then I saw the first blooms of daffodils and forsythia this week.
I can’t even put into words how much better the first signs of spring makes me feel.

Given your last sentence, you must be feeling downright crappy about now--as am I. Fall is lovely, but then the days are too short, and winter is only a heartbeat away. Here's to an early Spring!

Gosh, I see why I never see any new posts from you. I got curious about southern Oregon, and looked it up. I chose Medford because I thought it would be representative. It get a 169 days of clouds a year, and it's hottest month hits 90.5 on average. Here's a full summary: http://www.wrcc.dri.edu/cgi-bin/clilcd.pl?or24225

"Spring is in the air!"

I wish. Actually, I wish that Spring was ALWAYS in the air because I could never in a million years tire of daffodils.

You're sure piling up the responses to this post! Thought maybe you had a new post, but posts are like clocks in that even if you don't do anything to them, they're still right twice a day, so it is that your post from the past is relevant to the present.

I guess you're more focused on dahlias than on fur nowadays--furry dahlias, I would hope.

I still am very much focused on fur but just have Rusty now since Ruby passed last January. It is a tough thing to say goodbye to our pets as you well know.

I lost interest in this blog mainly because I lost interest in photography. I got frustrated with it because I couldn't get past the "dummy" settings. I guess I just didn't have enough interest to make myself learn something that wasn't easy for me.

I do update the Dahlia Society blog occasionally to fulfill my job as historian. I guess I should surprise you and add a post to "Focused on Fur" one of these days since you are the only one that ever reads it;)
Thanks for that.

Maybe you could take a photography class? You obviously have a feel for what makes a good photo.
